Understanding Your Options

License Test at The Next Street $99 + RMV fees

We make it easy to pass your license test! Avoid going to the RMV on test day and book your license test at The Next Street. The RMV agent will come to one of our testing locations and test you in our car. Our Testing Host is on hand to answer any last-minute test day questions.

Meet At The RMV $249 + RMV fees

We make it easy to test at the RMV too! Our Licensed Instructor will meet you at a select RMV location with our car on the day of your confirmed appointment. Our car is guaranteed to pass RMV inspection and our Instructor will fulfill the sponsorship requirement. You can add this product on at the time of enrollment or through the student portal.

Info About Our Scheduling

License test appointments at our select locations are released to us by the RMV on a month-by-month basis. You may purchase a license test during enrollment or anytime after in the student portal. Once you have completed all of your requirements and are eligible to test, you may contact us to schedule a license test appointment.

Important: Per RMV policy, students MUST complete one 2 hour driving lesson with us to be eligible for a test with The Next Street.

*Students must complete all required classroom and driving lessons before we are able to schedule a test for you. Your lesson must be completed at least 5 days prior to your test date.

Understanding Massachusetts’ License Testing Requirements

The MA RMV requires new teen drivers applying for a license that they have a MA permit, completed a driver’s ed classroom program at a driving school, completed all purchased driving lessons and logged 40 hours of driving practice between lessons and at home practice at least 5 days before attending their license test appointment.
